PIXMA MegaTank G3290 "sheets show no blue"

Dianawhitend

Refilled low blue ink tank,  cleaned the nozzle head, and other prompted procedures, 3 times. First test sheet showed some blue but next 2 sheets show no blue.

It’s a new printer.  I put it to work quickly.   Printed about 1500 color pages.   Blue ink ran out.   Replaced per instructions and now copies will not show blue ink areas on the page.

I’ve tried online manual instructions, troubleshooting options etc but I don’t see any instructions on the problem listed above.   I  sure hope someone can walk me through how to get the printer up and running again.
Thank you and grateful for any solutions that can get this printer up and running blue again!

Thanks again for your help!

Hi Dianawhitend,

When printnig is not as expected, such as no cyan appearing on printed pages, please follow all of the steps provided on this page from the G3290's manual:

G3290 > Settings/Maintenance > Performing Maintenance Functions > Maintenance Procedure

If cyan still does not print, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA G3290 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative can determine the cause of the issue and resolve it or provide you with your available service options.
