My printer is saying that it's offline even though it says it's successfully connected to the wireless network there's no other error messages it's turned on and I'm not sure why but it won't print.

Hi ladymcse2000,

What version of Windows are you using?
If you are using a Mac, what version of the macOS is installed?

Also, do you have a mobile device?  If so, please install "Canon PRINT" on that device.  Once installed, please open the app and attempt to connect to your PIXMA MX922.   Does the app detect your printer?

Greetings,

A few things you can do.

Log into your router and look at the list of attached devices.  If the printer is connected it will have an assigned IP address.  Your PC (Windows or MAC) will appear there as well.  Note these IP's.

Now open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (if MAC).  Ping the IP address of the printer.  Does it reply

Example my printer's IP is 192.168.1.99

C:\Users\itadmin>ping 192.168.1.99

Pinging 192.168.1.99 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.99: bytes=32 time=18ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.99: bytes=32 time=28ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.99: bytes=32 time=208ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.99: bytes=32 time=211ms TTL=64

On the router.  I would reserve the IP it has assigned to the printer.  This might be called Address Reservation, Static or Reserved IP.

Next, remove the printer from your computer, restart the computer and reinstall the printer as an IP printer.  This will ensure a persistent connection to the printer via its statically assigned IP.
