PIXMA MX922 (MX920 Series) Won't Print - Spits out blank pages

My PIXMA MX922 (MX920 Series) won't print anything. It just sends out blank pages. I ran a nozzle cleaning test, and it prints the CMYK/BK portions, but did not print the PGBK/grid section at the top. Any ideas for how to fix this?

Hi ssporbert,

Please open the cover to your PIXMA MX922 and remove the PGBK ink tank.  Please verify that the ink tank contains ink and there is no tape/cellophane on the ink tank.  Once compete, please reinsert the ink tank and close the cover to your printer.

Next, please perform 2 deep cleanings:

1.  Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922

2.  Use the down arrow key until the wrench and screwdriver icon is selected, then press OK

3.  Select Maintenance then press OK

4.  Select Deep cleaning and press OK

5.  Select Yes and press OK

Once both cleanings have been completed, please print another Nozzle check.  If PGBK still does not print, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.  If your PIXMA MX922 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options.
