PIXMA MX490. Have been using hard-wired on a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10. Had no problem downloading drivers for use with this laptop.
Just purchased new Lenovo laptop with Windows 11 and have been unsuccessful in downloading printer drivers to work with this laptop.
Is PIXMA MX490 compatible with Windows 11? Windows 11 was not an OS option. If not, is there any way to use this printer with the new laptop and Windows 11? Thank you for any help with this.

Hi,
Please click HERE and when the support page for your printer opens, select the software and driver's option. You will want to change the operating system to Windows 11.
You will then be able to download and install the Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.02 file that contains the printer driver, scanner driver and scanning software.

Thank you, ArthurJ. I finally took it to my local computer expert, who found what the Lenovo tech support guy didn't. There was a Lenovo firmware update for the new laptop. Once he updated the firmware, he had no trouble connecting to the printer.
