PIXMA MG5420 Can't Initiate Scans from Printer

I've got an MG5420. I'm running Windows 11. The printer works fine. I can initiate scans from an app on my PC, but I can't get the PC to appear on the list of printers on the device.

Any and all help appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG5420 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
