Whenever trying to initiate a scan FROM the printer itself, keep getting a "connect to computer" error.
Able to initiate the scans from the computer itself by using the scan utility app and print to it, so it is for sure in same network but we're trying to set up to be able to start the scans from printer itself to avoid less back and forth from computer to printer.
I tried searching online for this error but there's barely any info for that specific error related to Canon printers/scanners. Now, it could be something simple that I'm just overlooking so feel free to hit me with the simplest of possible answers/options. Thanks!

Greetings,
What is the version and build of the OS you are using the printer with?
What software (drivers and installers) did you use when installing the printer?
How is the printer connected and to what?
Brand and model of the router if you are using wireless?
Here is a link to the support portal so you can provide exact details about the software you installed.

Hi Rick,
Computer OS is Windows 11 Business 10.0.26100
Tried the drivers named MF741CMFDriverV6404WP.exe and winmfscanutilityv12102.exe
The printer connection is wireless and the webserver can be accessed through the computer's web browser

Hello. This website doesn't allow private messages. Could you tell me if there's a problem with network scanning on Canon MF series devices? Six months ago, when installing Windows 11, I encountered an issue with network scanning. I saw messages about the issue being a build issue starting with a certain version. But I can't find those messages anymore. Does this issue still exist? Sorry for my English, I translated it using Google Translate.

Yes we're still experiencing the issue. There's no issues with scanning whenever the scan is initiated from the computer (scan application) but when the scan is initiated from the printer/scanner itself, that's when the error message comes up. This used to work on an older computer but once it was replaced for a new one, it doesn't work anymore.
