My Canon MB2320 has been a workhorse and is 11 years old. Today while printing a small print job it printed first two pages of 3 page print job and stopped and started to display Error Code 1007 of No Paper in Cassette 1. I checked and it did have paper. No paper jam - removed both cassettes and checked the rear of the printer. I did find a small black plastic tip when I removed the bottom cassette but the printer did start making a strange noise.
I followed some troubleshooting tips from a YouTube video for this error message and none of those tips worked. Just wondered if someone had some suggestions or if it's time to start looking for a new printer..and of course I just put TWO brand new XL print cartridges in yesterday...
