PIXMA G3270: Black ink rubs off the waterproof labels

I have a Canon Mega Tank G3270 and the black ink rubs off the waterproof labels from online waterproof gloss labels.  Is there a way I can get the ink not to rub off.

1. Are the labels specifically made for inkjet use?

2. What does the label manufacturer say?

1.  Yes it is for inkjet

2.  water proof and my last printer printed fine.  Labels are from OnlineLabels.

I believe "waterproof" and "for inkjet" are contradictory properties. Dye ink printers use a liquid that is absorbed into the coating of the printer paper. Waterproof material doesn't absorb water. What was your previous printer?
