PDF printing from Mac to a Pixma MX925 prints black background

Hello

Printing from a new Mac Mini M4 with MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2 to a wi-fi connected Pixma MX925, prevously only used from Windows for several years.

Some prints come out inverted: black text on white page becomes white text on black page. This already happened twice from PDF docs obtained from different sources, and that do not show a background with color. Same documents printed from Win10 do print ok as expected.

I noticed two earlier queries:

https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Desktop-Inkjet-Printers/PIXMA-TR4522-PDF-files-print-with-black-b...

https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Desktop-Inkjet-Printers/PIXMA-TR8620a-prints-all-black-background...

Neither thread had a final solution. Both asked for error messages, no I did not get error messages. Both files were downloaded from outside websites, one is available fror exam if needed.

I believe the issue might have to do with the printer driver installed, which I downloaded from a Canon website, and that is woking fine with other printed documents.

Thanks
