I recently purchased a MacBook Air and I can connect to the printer but when I try to print, it gets stuck processing and never prints. The printer is probably 12 years old. Any way to fix this issue, or do I just need to upgrade my printer?

It’s new, so Monterey 12.0. The print job goes through but then the printer just says processing and it never ends up printing. I’ve finally canceled the job after 20-30 mins of it still processing.
