It's connected to a Mac via USB.I have tried several times to print a document and so far only two pages have gone through, one got damaged as it jammed inside and the other the printed result was full of errors.I looked round the back to see if there was any paper snarled up inside, but there doesn't appear to be any.I phoned Canon customer services, but they didn't see,m to be able to offer any suggestions other than taking the printer back to where I bought it.
One other thing before this problem I tried to establish a WiFi connection with my BT hub 5 but was not successful so I wondered if anyone had any suggestions on both counts? thanks

another thing ,the start button glows yellow rather than green so i am now thinking there is an electrical fault which probably means the machine has had it
