MX920 says printer is out of paper but the paper is full

MY MX920 gives me the message that there is no paper in the printer, but the paper is full. I have urned off the printer multiple times and each time it gives me the same problem. Any suggestions?

it had fixed itself this morning, didnt do a thing... it just started printed as though it haddent given me hours of trouble yesterday .

I have a mx490 and it would print for my other devices with no problems but when i used it I would get that the paper is out but it's full, so i cleaned it. took bottom off (where the cassette tray is) and cleaned the rubber feeder wheels, and now it grabs the paper, but is slow in doing so....and for some reason i cannot get it to work wirelessy anymore....should have kept my HP Printer, never had an issue with that.

Hi! Turns out that if you’re trying to print a screenshot, image from your photos, etc... its going to register that the item is a picture....thus explaining why it’s trying to print from upper tray! 🙂 So convert your picture into a PDF and then it will print. At-da!

I took the paper out of the lower tray and moved the paper guides back and forth, then put the paper back in. To my surprise, it worked. Too bad I didnʻt figure that out before my deadline.

Overall I would rate the MX920 as less useful, less reliable, and more prone to issues when compared to the MX700 I had.
