Replace printhead or replace TS9120?

My TS9120 has been good to me. Really not sure how old it is? Maybe 5 years or so? Anyway, it has started having issues with printing colors. I have cleaned the head several times. Seems to be better but not cured completely. Running out of ink cleaning! I am wondering if I should try replacing the printhead (never done that before) or buy a new machine?? Any thoughts are appreciated.

I just replaced my cartridges after removing and cleaning print head. Which I e done I. The past with success.  This time still not printing well. Ordered new empty cartridges as I use refillable ones for edible ink.  I don’t print often so everything dries up.  Seem to be making some progress with the new cartridges but I have to print a lot in a row to get machine cleaned out.  So maybe try new cartridges.   Deep clean cycle and all the the clean cycles helps.  I soaked my printer head for 2 days constantly changing the water.  It’s worked for me in past.

Please see the following statement on use of so-called edible inks and icing sheets with Canon inkjet printers: https://canon.us/edibleink

"In addition to potentially causing health effects, because Canon printers are not designed for the purpose of food preparation the use of these so-called edible inks or icing sheets in your Canon inkjet printer could result in reduced print quality, clogging of the printer’s system, or even damage to the printer’s components."
