MX452 - Computer can't see printer/scanner after MS Windows 11 update

I have an old MX452 color inkjet. Until late November 2025, it worked great.  Apparently Microsoft did an update and now the computer can't even see it.  To make matters worse, Canon doesn't support it.  My phone does see the Canon (I set up a static IP for it), but when I try to print... it goes nowhere.

I also have a Brother laser printer which, although the computer could see, it couldn't connect.  I uninstalled/reinstalled drivers and that solved the issue with the Brother, but I'm at a loss as to how to get my Canon inkjet to connect. In addition, I don't think there are drivers available for download anymore.

I don't use it often, but when I need a document printed in color, it is very useful.  I appreciate any insight.

Don't know for sure if it will help but the Windows 10 and 11 driver for your printer can be found here, use the mp version. '

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX452 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
