Hi, all. My MP500 stopped printing from the "5" cartridges head. I've updated the drivers, and cleaned the print head using the regular cleaning and then deep cleaning functions. I installed a new ink cartridge. Then I cleaned the print head, first with soaking in water and and later soaking in alcohol, all to no avail. Can this be fixed with a new print head, or is it time to deep six it. It has been working well until now. Finally, what would a comparable replacement be? I almost never do what is supposed to be one of these machine's strengths: print photos. Thanks,
Dan

Hi dmcp,
It does appear that your printhead is either clogged or damaged. At this point, I recommend contacting us to discuss your service options. If necessary, our agents will be happy to help you find the right printer for your needs as well.
