Hi, redieaf!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know whether your printer talks to your computer via USB cable or via Wi-Fi. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by ready to help 24/7 via email at http://Canon.us/SupportCF or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 10 AM and 10 PM ET (7 AM to 7 PM PT). We also encourage you to check out our Knowledge Base at that same link for answers to common questions.

Thanks and have a great day!

Via wifi. I followed the instruction step by step. Both laptop and printer has been connected to the same wireless network. However, the laptop can't detect the printer.

Hi redieaf,

Please try connecting your PIXMA MG7720 and then installing it on your computer.

To connect your PIXMA MG7720 to your wireless network, please follow these steps:

 1.  Press the HOME button on your PIXMA MG7720.

 2.  Swipe the screen and then select LAN settings.

 3.  Tap Wireless LAN setup.

 4.  Tap Standard setup.

 5.  A list of detected access points will appear.  Select your wireless network.

 6.  Enter your wireless network password and click OK.

Your PIXMA MG7720 will now be connected to your network.

Once connected, please run the set up again on your computer.
