My pixma MG7520 only worked 1 year before it started showing "Suppport code" B203.  Someone on this forum mentioned having to update your printer as your computer updates (ex. I have a mac so when auto iso systems update, the printer needs one too.  SO question, can i just turn of the wireless and use a usb cable to my computer INSTEAD of usng wifi???  This is a pain!  Or how do i update my printer to communiate with my computer??? thanks!

Hi,

The B203 is a general hardware failure code for the printer. To rule out a false error, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

If this does not resolve the error, the printer would require service. You can take the printer to any local electronic shop in your are to see if they can service the printer.

You also qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
