I have a Canon MG5750 printer. Its been working fine for ages, but suddenly yesterday after printing fine the day before, there appeared to be issues with the black printing. I printed a nozzle check and got the pattern on the attached image. Tried the printer nozzle cleaning functions, but no change. Its like the black is only printing halfway?
Ive taken the head out and given it a good soak in warm water. Loads of ink came out, but after thoroughly drying and reinstalling, the same issue remains. Im not sure if its the head or the printer, so dont want to buy a new head if its not that.
Anyone any ideas??

It is your pigment black channel that is not printing correctly. Pigment ink is more prone to plugging (because it is actual particles) and harder to clear.
Try running deep cleanings with the printer driver and more soaking of the head.
It looks like eBay has replacement heads for under $50 claiming to be brand new.
Since running head cleanings consumes all inks, and may not clear the clog, it may be cheaper to just get a new head.
