Hi Jutta! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that your PIXMA MG3620 is not printing documents from your computer.
I see that you can print a test page from your computer, and you are able to clean the nozzles. That means the computer can communicate with the printer. If your document is coming out blank, please skip the next paragraph and the instructions below it.
If nothing is happening when you try to print the document, please cancel the printing, and do the following:
If the document is coming out blank when it prints, and you recently replaced one of your ink cartridges, please open the printer and take that cartridge out. Please make sure that the orange tape has been removed from the bottom of the cartridge as mentioned in the following page of the manual (see illustration on step 5):
https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/MG3600%20series/EN/BG/bg-ink1000.html
If the tape has been removed from the bottom of the cartridge, please print a nozzle check pattern. You can use the instructions in the following link to print that pattern:
https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/MG3600%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1200.html
When the pattern prints, please compare it to the sample in the following section of the manual:
https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/MG3600%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1300.html
Please look at the sections marked A, B, and C in the sample pattern shown in the online manual (link above). All three of those sections should be clearly visible on your nozzle check pattern. If the grid pattern to the right of the letters BK or the page count at the bottom of the pattern are missing (sections A and C), that means the black ink is not coming out of the cartridge nozzles. If the bars to the right of the letters C, M, and Y (section B) are missing, that means the color inks are not coming out of the color cartridge.
The only way to clear the clogged nozzles on either one of the ink cartridges, you will need to do a cleaning and perhaps up to 3 deep cleanings to help. We do recommend spacing out the deep cleanings (one every 6-18 hours). Waiting will give the fresh ink time to soak through the clog and loosen it like Drano. You’ll find instructions for cleaning and deep cleaning in the following sections of the manual:
https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/MG3600%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1400.html
https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/MG3600%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1500.html
If the lamps on the printer start blinking when you try to print, please refer to the following section of the manual for information on what to do for that error:
If your documents are still not printing, we will need more information. Please write back with an answer to the following questions:
I hope this information helps. Thanks again.
