I have had this printer for months and I cannot get it to work. I have tried EVERYTHING but nothing is working and I’m losing my mind. I get to step 8 in getting started 1. But the alarm light turns on. It doesn’t flash but it stays a bright orange. I have tried restarting multiple times, I have tried just continuing I have tried new ink I have tried literally everything. I’m so confused no one else seems to have this problem. I’ve tried restarting, unplugging for an hour. It’s too late to return now I don’t have a receipt. And again it’s been months. I’m so frustrated.

It may be easier to resolve these issues in real time. Since your printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your service options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
