MG2522 Printer displays error code B200

I have a Canon MG2522 printer, displays error code B200. I've disconnected the power source, waited 30+ seconds and reconnected (per the troubleshooting guide) and upon reconnecting power to the printer the alarm lights immediately begin to flash 10 times (error code B200, B201). Is there a fix for this?  My printer was purchased in June 2022.

How do you talk to someone about a replacement/repair of the printer? The phone number to call is in a loop; it never lets you speak to a customer service representative.

Hi,

The B200 is a general hardware failure code and the printer would need to be replaced.

Since the printer is outside of it's factory 1 year warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.

I have been getting the same error.  Printer is less than 1 year old.   I read here to change the printer cartridges and I did,  This did take care of the problem.   It may be that they were not official Canon Pixma cartriges I actually got..
