A couple of weeks ago a peripheral shorted and cooked 2 of 3 USB ports on my iMac. I replaced the logic board but my ip4700 will no longer connect to the iMac (or anywhere for that matter). It was connected to the iMac when the short occured so I'm guessing the USB port on the printer fried as well. Can it be replaced or does the printer need a new logic board as well?
Many thanks!

Hi,
It could possible cost more to replace the parts in the printer then it would to replace it. Because of this, I recommend the Canon Upgrade program.
This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
