PIXMA TS8751 scans automatically when turned on

Hi, brand new TS 8751 owner here after retiring my nearly 15 year old IP4700. So far  so good but I wonder why every time I turn the printer on, it scans automatically? How can turn this off?

..and now it's gone away 🙂 Some update was installed yesterday..maybe that solved it.
