I have a Pixma Mx300 (as well as an 870 not yet used as a fax). I am using Windows 8.1. The Mx300 manual talks about clearing individual faxes from memory, but there is nothing said about clearing Activity, i.e., a list of fax numbers I have transmitted to. Despite repeated unpluggings, holding down Stop/Reset, and I don't remember, if I ask for an Activity report all these numbers are still listed. SO HOW DO WE GET THEM OUT OF MEMORY?
On the same subject, how do I clear all the memory of my phone number and any other personal settings. I cannot find a Factory reset function anywhere on the MX300.
