Hi there..
I got this error message when attempting to copy a document by placing it on the top tray that feeds into the printer. The original was never pulled into the printer and I received a Failed to Scan error message with a code that I can't find anywhere.. 3412.
Any ideas?

By any chance did you push the printer's OK button and retry?
