Hello all --
I have not had any success resetting my MG2220 using the various schemes on the internet. I'm hoping this community will bear fruit.
Thanks in advance for your help. Otherwise, I will soon be using another manufacturer's printer.

Hi,
This error is a internal hardware error and the printer would require service. If your printer is outside of it's 1 year warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.

I have completed the service (cleaning the excess ink from the absorption pads). Now I need to do the reset.
There is no way I'd pay to have this serviced by Canon. And after all this trouble, an "upgrade" for me would be to buy from a different manufacturer.
