Draft /Grayscale Mode for Pixma MX490

Hello everyone,

I am going through black ink like crazy and can't figure out how to change my default to draft mode printing. The directions I have found on here for older iOS or different printers lead me to Quality and Media, but the slider will not slide to Draft, Normal is as low as I can go. 

Macbook Air / iOS 10.12.1 Beta, Printer is Pixma MX490

Under System Preferences->Printers & Scanners be sure you have the IJ version of the printer and not the Bonjour version.
