If so, how do I do it? there are no frames for sizes othe than 35mm and 2.25

Hi ernielowe,
The CanoScan 9000F does not have a film setting specifically for 4x5 negatives, but since they will fit on the platen glass, I would recommend trying to scan the negative the same way you would a normal photo to see if this is successful.

Nope. I have some old 2.5 x 3.75 negatives. The Canoscan 5600F software cuts the image in half.
