I have a PIXMA TR4720 that is producing two blue lines across the scanned image when I scan with the ADF. This doesn't happen with the platen glass scanning. I believe what occurred was that I had scanned a blue ink marked up document and the ink hadn't fully dried before I scanned it and that the blue ink somehow got into the inside of the ADF reader.
I performed a cleaning as well as a deep cleaning and that hasn't resolved it. Is there a way to clean the inside of the ADF feeder on this model in some way? Or how else can I clean it to remove the blue lines?

Greetings,
What you describe sounds plausible. Cleaning operations will not remove ink which may be stuck in the ADF.
You'll have to get creative. The ADF is not a user serviceable part. Q-Tips and a very small amount of alcohol might help.
