I have a Macbook Air with Yosemite 10.10.5. I bought a PIXMA MX922. Since my computer does not have a CD drive, I located the Printer Driver on the canon website and downloaded it. I then opened the .pkg file and "Successfully installed" it. When I go to System Preferences > Printers and Scanners > + it does not locate this printer. I have also entered in the IPv4 address as a way to find the printer (with "Canon MX920 series" selected for "Use") and it says it is "unable to verify the printer on my network." I have checked and my Wireless LAN is "Active" on my Wifi Network...
Suggestions? Thank you.
