Why doesn't the phone app have a Bluetooth intervalometer feature ?!

Guys, what is your opinion about this?
The camera app already has a shutter function, so why not an intervalometer as well, especially that some older bodies don't have a built in interv... feature.
Note: If canon ever wants to implement this, please make sure it can work in the background, so we can use our phones while having the camera taking the shots + having the ability to turn off the phone screen if we need to save battery.

Also, there are 3rd party apps that do that
There is a free app on the app store, and a paid one on the play store.
But again, should we rely on third party apps for this simple feature ?!!! it is laterally a "for" loop + the already existing shutter button.

But the convenience of just having with you whenever, wherever !!
+ you dont need to pay for another piece of equipment
+ there are some cameras that dont have that port (canon m line)

Have tried entering “000”, yet? That should give you an unlimited number of shots, or at least until the battery goes dead.
