I need to move to 64 bit mac OS in order to get the newest version of a software package, but my Canon utilities are all 32 bit. I use those all the time and therefore will need to obtain 64 bit versions of them too. But on the support page for my Powershot Elph 340 HS for example, here https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/cameras/point-and-shoot-digital-ca..., it says there is no software avaiable for either of those two 64 bit versions. On this page, https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/self-help-center/canon-macos1015, it says no support for macOS 10.15 Catalina for Camera Window which is how I download from the Elph 340HS. Whenever I try calling Canon support and ask for technical support for my 340 HS it tells me I have to pay to talk to someone then hangs up on me.
Is Canon leaving users of older cameras without support? My camera is no good to me if I can't download pictures from it, and similar for my TS8220 Pixma printer/scanner. Are there other software alternatives?

Apple macOS Image Capture should work. Or you should be able to use a card reader.

What do you think for the scanner/printer TS8220 I use? Especially the Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite that I use almost every day to scan things?
