I bought a new EOS Rebel T7 and am trying to use Live View using the Canon Utility. I am hard connected via USB. It worked fine with my older Mac running Mojave, but I need it to work with my laptop using Catalina (OS10.15.7). Unfortunately, when I go in to Live View, the app shuts down. If I just try to take a photo, the connection gets "lost" and the app shuts down again. My firmware is up-to-date on the camera. This happens using the earlier EOS Utility as well as EOS Utility 3.
I have an event coming up soon where I need to use this feature (which is why I bought the Canon), so any help to fix this would be appreciated and avoid the hassle of returning the camera.
