W=I just got my R5 II and updated it to the former firmware update. Then I learned that the firmware was flawed. How can I tell if 1.1.1 is any better?

Canon recently pulled the latest firmwarefor the R5 Mark II cameras due to a bug that prevented video recording playback when using a memory card larger than 2 TB with the pre-recording feature enabled. Canon said that the most recent release of the firmware 1.1.1 fixed the issues. Most of the feedback is that the two issue have been resolved but several challenges remain with AF loosing subjects were/are not resolved in the update.

If you search you will find plenty of video's and information regarding the absence of some ongoing challenges.
