I am having this issue with filtering my photos in DPP. When i open a folder with photos and turn the filter on, no specific criteria for filtering are show in the UI. For example when i choose "Rating", the only option is "All" even tho there are different ratings across the photos. Same for literally any other criteria, I cannot specify what I want to filter. Additionally, even when i choose "All", all of the photos are filtered out, displaying none.
This happens even in different directories. All the photos in the folder are .JPEG and .CR3 imported straight from the camera using USB cable.
I have tried repairing and reinstalling the app, which did not help. I am using windows 11.

Did you select all the images?

John, it shouldn't matter. I just did a test (I don't use this feature) and it filtered without "selecting all". I'm on Windows 11 Pro and latest DPP.

Matbe I shouldn’t have implied All. Doesn’t look like he as any images showing.

I must ask the oblivious, there are photos in the selected folder?

I agree with John and EB. It doesn't look like there are files in the selected folder. If there were files, they would ALL show.
Just be sure you aren't selecting a "parent" folder where only sub-directories contain the files to be filtered. DPP will not look through sub-folders when the parent is selected.

There are images in the selected folder itself. For example this directory where I was playing with the lenses and trying stuff out:
If I do nothing and just turn the filter on, all the images will dissapear (that is what happend in the original screenshot). Even when I select all the pictures, after quick "processing" pop up, all the photos dissapear with no filtering options to set.

When you select "ON" in the filter header do you get a progress box?

Yes, it does. The photos then disappear.
