I am trying to connect my R1 to my mac book Sanoma 14.6. I have downloaded the EOS Utility 3 and have followed steps on camera to connect. Camera is showing it is connected and the I was able to confirm my camera on the utility but then the EOS utitlity 3 is black and will not let me select any of the options.  I am trying to use the remote shooting

Uninstall all the Canon apps.  Reboot.  Reinstall the Canon apps.  Reboot.  Reset the wireless communications settings in the camera

Make sure that no apps are trying to connect to the camera and try it again.

I have not tried this yet for this issue, but I have tried it with other Canon app issues. It’s frustrating how great Canon apps can be, but at the same time so terrible and cumbersome to troubleshoot!

I’m experiencing the same issue. There is a step in the user guide that shows a screenshot of EOS Utility that simply never shows up when I run it on my MacBook, also with Sonoma.
