Does any of you tried to download EOS Utility for the last updated software in MAC? Still not available for me.

I just plugged it into my 1DX Mk II. I turned on Liveview on the camera, then on the remote window, I clicked on Liveview and it came right up on my screen. So it works just fine. In my previous solution, the problem is surely a conflict with universal installer and something on my Mac for that profile. As soon as I created a new user, assigned admin rights, it blew right through the installation without a hitch. Once installed it works fine for both user accounts.
Good Luck!

Hello 1strail and thank you for your answer.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are using a EOS 5D and a EOS 1DX MkII, right?
Because the problem is with the new mirrorless cameras like R5 MkII and R1.
Thank you anyway

It was happening on both my 5D and my one DX. This is before even connecting any camera for me. It was a software issue and by creating another user, the software loaded as expected that is how I solve my problem.

OK --- I am still getting the following error message when trying EOS Utility 3 on my Mac running Sequoia 15.3.1 no matter where I download it from. My original trick which is still erroniously listed as "the Solution" to this problem does NOT work! I agree with shawl above that here we are in March 2025 and people are STILL having this problem. Why hasn't it been fixed?
Here's what I get when I try to use the EOS Utility (all versions of it). - NOT HAPPY!
"Communication with the camera via USB cannot be established.
Start EOS Utility after closing all the apps that communicate with the camera, and then turn on the camera again."

I installed the webcam utility recently, not sure why, and when I did my Utility 3 stopped working. I have since updated my Mac software to Sequoia15.3.2, my Canon R6 Mii firmware, uninstalled Webcam, Uninstalled Utility 3, reinstalled U3 and still getting the dreaded "Connection not found, close all apps, blah blah blah". WTF do I do? I count on this feature to make Youtube videos and live view them?!?!?! This is my income now! WTF Canon?!?!
