Does any of you tried to download EOS Utility for the last updated software in MAC? Still not available for me.

I’m using an M1 Mac Studio Max which is now running the latest update of Sequoia and connecting to a Canon EOS Rebel SL2 OR 200D in the rest of the world.
The key to my issue was that I needed to uninstall all previous versions of the Canon EOS Utility from my computer. That’s because one of them was running in the background and wouldn’t allow me to use the upgraded utility. Once I uninstalled the old versions I again downloaded the update and then restarted my computer. That turned out to be the sequence of events that was necessary for the upgrade to work correctly. Everything worked! I’m now up and running.
I have no idea what your issue is as long as the Canon camera you’re using is on in the list of supported Canon cameras but will add, make sure to follow my sequence and don’t deviate from it.

It doesn’t work for me. I get an error message stating that I must turn off all apps that connect to my camera but nothing is on. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong. Any suggestions. Thank you.

Go to appz, delete canon utilities folder, update to sequoia 15.1, download this version of eos utility 3.18.5 from canon hong kong ,

Canon Hong Kong? They get a working app and the US users don’t? That’s very typical of Canon. I’ve decided that when I update my camera I’m going to be looking at other brands.
Seriously, thank you for the information. I’ll check it out tomorrow.

yes it works perfectly with that version(i have sequoia 15.1 and canon r5 with leatest firmware update) I leave you the download link here, but don't forget to delete everything you had before the canon utility for connection. clean your computer and reinstall this version.

Special thanks to all who provided help and encouragement!! After several attempts I was finally able to sucessfully set up the Sequoia version of the EOS Utility. I went back and started everything from the beginning starting with removing all previous versions of the EOS software. I then redownloaded the new version and restarted my computer. Everything is now working on Mac OS Sequoia.
For those who are interested I'm not new to computers at all. While my rank here is Apprentice I've been working with computers since punch cards on a mainframe and then moved on to Commodore 64s, Apple ][s and TRS-80s among other things.

Well, I hate to say this BUT the EOS Utility software just quit working on my Mac using OS Sequoia. I made some changes on the camera and for some reason the EOS Utility no longer works. I’m getting the same error message. It says to turn off all software communicating with the camera. I’m guessing that I’ll need to uninstall the software and reinstall it. This is really BAD! Obviously Canon hasn’t truly updated their software and need to provide better service to those of us using their cameras. This is convincing me that in the future I’ll be staying away from purchasing additional Canon cameras.
I’m sorry this was tagged as a “solution” because it seems it was only temporary.
