I have just downloaded EOS Utility 3 software on my Mac with software version Sonoma 14.2.1 but it's all gray except for preferences and quit options. Please help, I need to connect my EOS 800D.

Latest version is macOS 14.3.

You want to run EOSU3 directly from the canon Utilities folder. It does work with latest Sonoma. You also need to be sure you authorize accessories to be accessed.

Greetings,

The EOS Utility 3 does support the EOS 800D, but I'm not sure if the software runs under 14.2.1 currently.

Canon : Product Manual : EOS Utility : Compatible Cameras (start.canon)

States not supported, I'll have to look into this further.  A card reader and image capture is always another option.

I think my major problem is my Mac's updated software version because it didn't appear on my options except all the older versions.
