Hi all,
Have had the R6 Mark ii since last year and was able to update through CC prior. Over the last few updates, I continue to get a message ‘failed to update’. Camera connects to CC and everything seems fine.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance

Are you sure this is the EOS R5 Mark II, it only was announced in July 2024?
Regardless of which camera, I would try the very reliable method where you download the firmware from the Canon website - three's even some links in the forum sidebar - and then extract it on a computer and put the file ending in .FIR on the root folder of the camera memory card. Then do the update from the camera itself.

Sorry, you are correct. It is the R6 mark ii.

It’s possible that there are some things in the update that make the wireless update impossible. A memory card is the safest and fastest option. Make sure there’s only one card in the camera when you do.
