I am trying to update the firmware on my R5 to 1.9.1, but having trouble. When I try to download, Canon does not recognize the operating system on my Mac. Although Sonoma OS is included in the drop down menu, when I click it, Canon tells me that it does not recognize my operating system. Tried the chat line, but that was worthless; so much for AI; it did not understand the question. Although 1.9.1 probably has no impact on my workflow, I like to be up-to-date.

Hello, Bob.
Camera firmware is not computer OS specific. You can select an older Mac OS version in the dropdown, or even the ZIP file for Windows. They both contain the FIR file for the R5.
