Not able to download images in EOS Utility 2

I have a EOS Rebel T4i, I am using EOS Utility 2 and a Mac. Everything has worked fine for years. But now I can't down load images from the camera. EOS Utility seems to be going through all the normal processes, but the images are showing up on my computer. I don't know if the problem is the camera, the software or the Mac? Any ideas?

Using MacOS High Sierra 10.13

Thank you for the ideas. Problem resolved, turns out you can only down load an image once and I had previously downloaded the images in question. New images are down loading fine.

See if the following Apple Support Article addresses your issue.

Though using a card reader (many Macs have built-in card readers) will be much less hassle.

I am using OS High Sierra, which is not modern either.

You shouldn't need ANY software just to download photos from camera to computer.

When you connect them, the camera should mount as a drive, which you can open, then open the DCIM folder, and move/copy your files onto the computer wherever you want them.

Does this happen or not?

You can also go with an  SD-card reader and plug it into the computer.

Glad you worked it out. Please check problem solved.

When you look at the camera or SD card in your computer's file browser, you can MOVE the files, or you can COPY them. Moving doesn't leave anything on the memory card. Copying does. In Windows, the choice comes when you drag with the right mouse button. Don't know about the Mac.
