Troubleshooting canon camera connect error grant permission to use local network even though it is turned on. I have seen instructions from google that do not match my menu option. All this nightmare because Canon did not add a headphone jack to the t7i. Trying to use my iPad so that I can monitor my wireless mics. This is really ridiculous that all of this because there is no phone jack.

Hello DonaldMLewis,
Let's make sure that permission has been granted on the iPad for the app. Open [Settings] on your iPad. Look for and tap [Privacy]. Select your local network. You should see a list of apps displayed. Toggle the switch to enable access for the Canon Camera Connect app.

Hey John I had given permissions on and yes toggled the permissions but the camera did not acknowledge that the permissions were on on the Ipad.

What network are you attempting to connect to?
The camera hotspot? The phone hotspot? A local wireless access point?
Which device displays the error message?
