VIXIA HF R400 - can I access the camera settings via a computer?

Hello,

I have a VIXIA HF R400.

The lcd display slightly popped out of the flip open housing door (or whatever it is called) however I pushed it back in.

The camera works fine however I noticed that there is a small area (upper right side) of the touchscreen that no longer is touch sensitive.  This only affects if I need to touch a certain area of the screen while in changing any settings.

Does anyone know if there is a way to connected the camcorder to and use a software tool to access and adjust the camera settings?

The VIXIA HF R400 does not have the option to have its menu screen accessed through a computer and Canon does not develop software that would allow for this function.
