I have just bought the above camcorder and trying to do a firmware update. I have copied the update to the SD card but the firmware tab in the menu is greyed out so can't update the camera. The manual says use slot B but I have tried both slots and no joy. Has anyone any ideas as to where I might be going wrong?
It turns out it wasn't a faulty SD card after all but appears to be a faulty card reader in the camera. It's been sent back for a possible exchange camera.
