Can i power Vixia G70 with a powerbank?

Hello community!

The question is: Vixia G70 (in Europe is known by Legria G70) supports power via USB, or at least the power connector is a USB-C. Can i use a powerbank with PD (Power Delivery) to power the camera or charge the battery?

I have one PD powerbank with 20000mAh and these output specs: USB C OUT 5V-3A; 9V-2.2A; 12V-1,5A and it does nothing when connected to the camera...

Is it possible to use a PD powerbank? Whick one can you use or recommend?

Hello eugeniobrito,

The VIXIA HF G70 can be powered using a Canon PD-E1 USB Power Adapter via USB. This is the only recommended USB method for powering/charging the camcorder or battery via USB.
