I've tried 2 different brands of LANC controllers with my Vixia HF G20. Both are able to Power On/Off, start/stop Recording, and Zoom In/Out. My question is around the record light. Neither remote indicates that recording is in progress (indicated by a red light on controller). It's like the HF G20 isn't sending the recording status to the remote. Is this expected behavior?
