So there does not seem to be an option to ERASE all images from all cards, OR to ERASE all images on card, then switch to the other card and execute that selection again. I never inquired about FORMAT as that was always available able to format card...

Yes, that is true. The "All images on card" is present and will erase all the images on that single card. But is there a way to switch to card 2? I can't find it.
