Thanks for your response. But, I threw the pixma in the trash where it absolutely belongs. Canon has lost credibility by putting their name on this garbage.

I have this same problem. It cuts off the last half inch no matter the settings. The MG2522 did this with my old Toshiba with win7 and I (eventually) installed my new HP with win11, and still it persists.
