I am wondering whether the EOS Webcam Utility will be updated to include EOS R7 compatibility, and if so, what is the expected timeline.Anyone know of workarounds for the R7?

I have been using my EOS RP for astrophotography with the Bulb timer and a 2s delay shutter release. So I'll set my desired Bulb timer (usually 60 - 120 sec), press the shutter release to start the 2 s delay, and then I get the desired exposure time....

The reboot bit is a pain. So $130 for the device and each time you want to use it you have to reboot. Less a than ideal, but I guess it gets the functionality. Thanks for the update.

Thanks, John. I wondered if I would need to go this way. I did experiment a little bit last night, and I found that if I eliminated the 2s delay, the app worked a bit better. Howeer, I want consistent operations, so I'll check out the remote controll...
